My loom. I weave with cotton and rayon, in tiny yarns. In 16 harness twill, with a dobby head. A dobby head is a historic method of obtaining intricate weaving patterns and was the inspiration for the early punch card computers.
I studied textiles at Purdue University. It breaks my heart to see so many colleges closing down their handweaving programs. Especially as a new generation of artists are being interested in fiber as an art medium again.
